要旨
Recently in shallow flow mixing layer, the Horizontal Large Eddy Simulation (HLES) is getting more interests in a simulation of the quasi two-dimensional flow. The idea is that kinetic energy has to be conserved because the part of the kinetic energy cascaded towards smaller scales requires an energy-controlling subgrid scale model. A numerical model is developed to simulate the turbulence flow in a meandering channel with river training structures, in which the additional subgrid model is included. This paper investigates the possibility of subgrid model applied to the momentum equation proposed by Kernkamp, H. & Uittenbogaard, R. (2001) to our existing model (Shimizu, Y. 2002) Hence, the calculated results are compared with the experiment (Giri, S. 2003). The simulations agree with the experiment and additional subgrid scale with our existing model can provide better results especially around the area of high turbulence.
